The Astrology of Expanding Experience and Going Beyond the Self

The development of astrology has been fuelled by needing a cosmic perspective and attempting to grasp the divine. How did the tradition deal with experience beyond the familiar and routine, especially the subjects of travel, knowledge, and spirituality, which all concern meeting a wider world? This Intensive is about the natal delineation of greater personal meaningfulness which can be experienced in all these ways. Information and techniques from ancient authors will be explored and applied using a variety of birthchart examples.

The journey from the known to the unknown, and the attempt to make sense of it all creates the ultimate big questions. It is an essential pilgrimage of humanity from its origins to its destiny. Transcendent experience has always called to the spirit and questing for the meaning of one’s existence leads to greater realisation and awareness. Such understanding is the basis of education, religion, and divination which are journeys of broadening horizons by encountering the exotic and unexplored.
