Monthly Delineation Intensives – ‘Reading Charts’
Continuing our Special Request Intensives, we present a series focusing upon Doing Astrology. Each month will review core methods and put them to use.
All levels are most welcome.
Participants are invited to bring along charts for practice.

Coming Intensive – 24 June 2014
Modern Planets and the Tradition
Planets are the most dynamising symbols, making it important to define what they ‘are’ and how they ‘work’.
In light of this, we will look to Uranus, Neptune and Pluto and examine how they integrate with baseline astrology.
What do the ‘modern planets’ represent and what is their class? Do they differ from the ancient visible planets (Moon-Saturn)? Do they ‘cast rays’, can they ‘rule’? Do they add totally new meanings? Or reinforce symbolism of the traditional planets? Or both?
Do they require an unique approach? Or not?
Further insight into chart analysis will be practised using examples.
As always we invite all levels of questioning, discussion, and interaction, at this coming Intensive – we hope all who attend will be as stirred and stimulated about astrology, as we always are after one of these evenings.(more..)

The Aspects in Astrology
Aspecting is a crucial part of the Art, making each horoscope totally individual. It can also be the trickiest component to judge well and put into practice. For the planets become active, ‘looking at’ and ‘talking’ with one another – just as with human talk and activity, many fascinating and sometimes puzzling dynamics can occur.
This is another popular Review Intensive, full of subtleties, and perfect for those new to astrology and for those continuing to polish knowledge. The aim is to deepen understanding build on the subject and explore chart examples – to see not only ‘how’ aspecting works, but to explain ‘why’.

Life Force and Health
From ancient times astrology has had a notable relationship with medical practice and understanding the physical body. Hence, there are baseline horoscopic symbols which relate to reinforcing or debilitating individual well-being.
This Intensive will address astrological principles and techniques from throughout the art’s history concerned with health, life, sickness and death.(more..)

Highlighting Key Principles
Astrology is all about putting heavenly symbolism into practical action and this Intensive focuses on highlighting the key features of doing so.
This evening is an opportunity to examine what these principles are, and ‘why’ they are, making this discussion suitable for all, whether new or experienced in chart reading. Core principles of doing astrology will be covered using birthchart examples.
Reviewing these important independent building-blocks is always rewarding, lending clarity and supporting confidence in reading charts.(more..)
