AP24 Dynamic Astrological Techniques I

Primary Directions

Just remember that you’re standing on a planet that’s Astrologer and Client - AP24 - Primary Directionsevolving, and revolving at nine hundred miles an hour

That’s orbiting at nineteen miles a second, so it’s reckoned, a sun that is the source of all our power

The sun and you and me and all the stars that we can see, are moving at a million miles a day ….

No astrological chart is ever static, but actually portrays all variety of active processes. This Intensive begins a series devoted to working with dynamic methods, where moving astrology is viewed and symbolic potential unfolded. What may come can be considered, for the realm of timing and prediction is engaged.

In this stimulating series, heritage ideas will be presented  and more familiar ones reframed (ranging from profections and chronocrators – to solar returns, transits and progressions). Tradition always worked by cleverly interweaving techniques. No single method was ever sufficient alone.

First of these is Primary Directions, an ancient doctrine used by many notable astrologers throughout centuries of practice. Based on the dynamism of the daily turning of our planet Earth, it is most personalised to any particular time and place. Primary Directions very much relate to the Art of having read what is already promised in the birthchart. We are reminded, that in terms of horoscopy, fate and fortune are ultimately spun by the Earth.

Whatever may happen to you was prepared for you from all eternity, and the implication of causes was from eternity spinning the thread of your being.
